We have created this itinerary for guests who want to see more of Cape Town. These are not events that everyone has to attend, but merely suggestions we can all do as a group. You are also free to explore Cape Town on your own.
Important Note
As many of our guests are travelling from abroad, we’ll be creating a WhatsApp group to help everyone connect, whether it’s arranging lifts, exploring together, or sharing plans.
We’ll also use the group to confirm RSVPs for lunch at the Cape Vineyards on 2 April.
The group will be created 1–2 weeks before the wedding.

Unfortunately alot of friends and family won’t be in Cape Town by the 1st of April so we will sadly be cancelling and moving around some events.

Roadtrip drive through Chapman’s peak
(11:30 - 16:30) - informal setting
An amazing scenic drive for all guests to participate in. Guests will need to do the drive with their own cars. If you are interested in renting a nice cabriolet to do this drive you can find cars here.
We’ll stop at Cape Point Vineyards at 13:00 for a delicious lunch and wine tasting. Dining there is completely optional. If you’d still like to join the road trip there are several other excellent restaurants and vineyards in the surrounding area as well. You can have a look at the menu here.

Experience a unique and leisurely way to see the Franschhoek Valley as you journey through rolling vineyards in a double-decker tram and open-air tram-bus stopping at some of South Africa’s oldest and most distinguished wine estates.
Hop-on/hop-off tram through 7–8 estates (picnic or bistro lunch on route).
