Dress to Impress
Normally, we don’t like to tell people what to wear — but for our wedding, we’d love to create a shared sense of style that matches the beautiful vineyard setting, the soft autumn light, and the celebration of love we’ll be sharing together.
We discourage anyone from wearing black, white, or ivory white.
We’re going for a theme we’re calling “Semi-Formal Pastel” elegant, romantic, and sunshine-ready. Think soft colours, timeless silhouettes, and comfortable sophistication.
For the Ladies:
Floor-length or midi dresses in pastel tones (think soft blush, sage green, champagne, periwinkle, dusty rose, lavender, sand, peach…)
Fabrics like chiffon, silk, or linen are perfect
Comfortable heels or sandals — we’ll be on grass, terraces, and dancing floors
Hats or light wraps are welcome (especially for the ceremony)
For the Gentlemen:
Classic suits in light shades like beige, dove grey, pastel blue, or soft taupe
Tie or bow tie encouraged — floral prints, light plaids, or soft solids all work beautifully
Pocket squares = bonus points
Preferably linen or cotton blends (it’s warm in Stellenbosch!)
Not sure where to start? Think “garden formal meets soft European summer.” Elegant, but easy — formal, but fresh.
